    Entangled

    Goethe-Institut, 37 Merrion Square, Dublin 2

What exactly are quantum technologies and what impact will they have they have on society? What opportunities do they offer and what questions do they pose? Can the arts help us to better understand and communicate about them?  ‘Entangled’, a public event hosted by the Goethe-Institut in Dublin on Wednesday, 7 December, will delve into these questions.

The event forms part of ‘Living in a Quantum State’, a new initiative by the Goethe-Institut, which aims to foster public dialogue around the use of quantum technologies and their relationship with the arts. The event will be moderated by Ann O’Dea (CEO Silicon Republic, Future Human) and will feature speakers from the creative sector and academia, including musician and astrophysics graduate, Emma Garnett (alias Fehdah); Dr Florian Carle from the Yale Quantum Institute; and more.
