Value added distributor Espion is aiming to carve out an entirely new reseller ecosystem when it launches SimpliVity, and its award-winning OmniCube platform, in the UK and Ireland.
Hailed by research giant IDC as “a truly transformative technology”, SimpliVity is an IT infrastructure that replaces traditional, disjointed IT stacks with a simplified and assimilated IT building block, – Omnicube.
Espion head of technology Jim Lehane (pictured) said: “We were blindsided at our first SimpliVity demo. Its concept of ‘packing the stack’ into one single box that holds servers, switches, storage, combined with its ability to de-dupe and backup all with a WAN function makes it an incredibly exciting brand.
“When companies actually try the product, they deploy it quickly so our SimpliVity game plan is to firstly target and convert progressive organisations where switching to highly disruptive technologies is easier.”
Espion’s portfolio of vendors includes Arista, Riverbed, Tintri and A10 Networks.
