Threat protection and managed cybersecurity services company eSentire has marked the opening of its new European headquarters and security operations centre in Cork, by announcing a bursary for the Dept of Computing at Cork Institute of Technology (CIT).

The bursary, named after an eSentire executive who passed away in 2014, will be awarded to a second year student starting in the 2015 school year.

“The entire eSentire team has been looking forward to today to celebrate the opening of our new Cork offices and welcome our new Irish colleagues into their new location,” said J. The company employs 11 in Cork and plans to reach 100 employees in the county over the next five years.
