Espion, the intrusion detection systems specialist, has secured Irish distribution rights for EnCase, the computer forensic system from US-based Guidance Software. The software is available in two versions, EnCase Forensic Edition and EnCase Enterprise Edition. It manages large volumes of computer-based information and can search for supposedly deleted files, file slack and unallocated space.
The security software is suitable for companies looking to conduct compliance audits and respond quickly to any computer incidents within the organisation. It can be used to investigate crimes or matters of dispute that directly or indirectly involve a computer.
