eBay University is returning to Dublin for two dates in September 2007. Due to popular demand, eBay.ie, the dedicated Irish eBay website, will host a “Selling Seminar” University on Tuesday 4th September 2007 and a “Beyond the Basics” course on Thursday 13th September 2007. Both will be held in the National College of Ireland, Mayor Street, Dublin 1 (IFSC).

The September eBay.ie universities have been organised in direct response to user demand following eBay.ie’s sell out Beyond the Basics course, which took place in March.

The “Selling Seminar” which takes place on Tuesday 4th September, is an introductory course designed to equip new eBay users with the skills to help them buy and sell on eBay.ie. The “Beyond the Basics” seminar is ideal for regular users of eBay.ie. It takes place on Thursday 13th September and is designed to sharpen selling skills and to provide the budding eBay entrepreneur with an insight into setting up a shop, marketing strategy, tools, managing sales and managing their business.

Both courses have been designed to provide invaluable insight and guidance on how to drive sales and increase revenue. Whether you’re already using eBay.ie to make a little extra pocket money or planning to sell thousands of items a month each university offers the perfect opportunity for ambitious eBay users to learn from those who have made a real success of trading on eBay.ie. eBay tutors will also be on hand to answer questions and offer advice on individual queries.

University tutors on the evening will include John McElligott, Managing Director of eBay Ireland. John commented; “The Irish eBay community is very important to eBay and we are delighted to be returning to Dublin in September for the second and third time this year with two eBay Universities, following our sell out course in March. The September Universities will focus on informing, educating and empowering Irish sellers on the site.”

Both eBay.ie Universities will take place at the National College of Ireland, Mayor Street, Dublin 1 (IFSC), on Tuesday 4th of September and Thursday 13th of September 2007 from 6.30-9.30pm. Registration will take place from 6-6.30pm. The cost for the evening course is €40 per person – including refreshments and course materials.
