Cyera, Logicalis collaboration tackles data risk in the AI era
Organisations are rapidly accelerating their adoption of AI, however many are finding that ambition is outpacing their ability to manage the data foundations required to support it. According to Logicalis’ CIO Report 2026, 85% of organisations said data challenges, including poor quality, silos and governance gaps, were a key barrier to AI adoption, highlighting a growing disconnect between AI strategy and operational readiness.
At the same time, the widespread use of AI tools across the workforce is introducing new and often unintended risks. Some 58% of organisations reported that employee use of AI was jeopardising data security, as sensitive information is shared, accessed or exposed in ways that are difficult to monitor or control. As data becomes more distributed across cloud, SaaS and AI-driven environments, maintaining visibility, governance and protection is becoming increasingly complex and critical for organisations looking to adopt AI with confidence.
