Channel Mechanics, the cloud-based channel enablement company recently awarded High-Potential Start-Up (HPSU) status from Enterprise Ireland, has moved its operations to NUI Galway’s Business Innovation Centre. The new office will house an ‘advisory services centre of excellence’ as well as research and development facilities for its software development teams.
The centre of excellence has been set up to provide clients with access to a team of on-call industry experts. The R&D laboratory will enable the research Teams to continuously develop Channel Mechanics’ solutions and Applications in close partnership with the Advisory Services Centre of Excellence Team, in what is an environment close to other academic and commercial groups engaged in complementary R&D activities.
"Having an office at the NUI Galway’s Business Innovation Centre provides the perfect environment and support network for technology based start-up business like us," said Andy Simpson, co-founder and managing director, Channel Mechanics.
"On the Campus we’re surrounded by like-minded high-growth companies, as the reputation of the University attracts entrepreneurs with a wealth of technology expertise, making it a stimulating hub for high-tech start-ups. We’ve also got a whole range of facilities at our fingertips, giving us the space to grow and develop our applications for our customers and fantastic access to the undergraduate and graduate talent pool as well."
