TomTom has released an updated version of its Webfleet Mobile fleet management app, extending use to tablets.
Through the app fleet managers can monitor their workflow and meet service agreements. New jobs can be sent straight from the smart phone or tablet to a field workers’ TomTom PRO device, providing them with all critical information about the job, including accurate arrival times, which can be used to inform the customer.
Webfleet Mobile 1.2 also displays tracks on the map for selected trips by date and vehicle.
Available across 21 countries in Europe, North America, Australia and South Africa, the app supports seven languages – Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish – and is available in app stores for TomTom’s 15,000 business customers.

Fitbits’ mobile apps are designed to track a person’s progress through their physical fitness regime.
Now available for iOS and Android devices, users can their activities and get a snapshot of their progress towards health and fitness goals. Main features include food and activity logging, food goals, and progress graphs so you know exactly where you are in relation to where you want to be.

Voucherpages.ie’s iPhone App gives shoppers to access a huge range of discounts from hundreds of businesses around Ireland.
The app picks up a user’s location and displays discount vouchers available locally for goods and services. The App can also filter results by type.
Vouchers can then be redeemed by purchasing in-store by simply displaying the relevant mobile voucher when paying. All redemptions are automatically tracked to measure the number of customers won for local businesses across Ireland.
Lux in Arcana

Accenture has developed a free alternate reality app to complement an exhibition of documents held in the Secret Vatican Archive. The exhibition "Lux in Arcana – The Vatican Secret Archives Reveals Itself" features ciphered letters, manuscripts, codices, and ancient parchments dating from the eighth to the 20th century.
The app enhances the experience of users by delivering supplemental details about exhibits such as technical data, photos and images, and features rich, multimedia content (including an audio guide) for a more immersive experience. The app allows users to see the documents by alphabetical or chronological order, or by the typology and location in the Capitoline Museum’s halls.
