Broadband provider AirSpeed Telecom, has signed a three-year, €500,000 contract with online insurance broker Chill to establish a next generation contact centre.
The new, licensed wireless IP network will deliver dual 100Mb/s connections to the Internet, and a 1Gb/s link connects Chill’s offices, supporting real time failover in the event of an outage.
"The AirSpeed team came on board and took the time to understand our business continuity needs," said Padraig Lynch, chief executive officer, Chill Insurance.
Liam O’ Kelly, managing director, AirSpeed Telecom, said: "The redesign of Chill Insurance’s network has been a landmark project for AirSpeed Telecom, demonstrating the full range of unified communications solutions we now provide. While upgrading the speed of the link between its offices was important to Chill Insurance, the key emphasis was delivering improved resilience which was achieved through a guaranteed Quality of Service for voice traffic thanks to enterprise SIP Trunks delivered via a private, secure network."
