Palm has announced the Palm TX handheld computer with integrated wireless connectivity. Aimed at business users who work on the road frequently, the TX retails for €370 and it equips business users with a device that will allow them to connect to a wireless broadband network while on the road, download e-mail, browse web pages, get access to work files over the network and make free internet-based phone calls.
The large 320×480 screen provides a good quality display while the integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity options are made more manageable through the ability to scan for available networks, improved connection logic to automatically connect to available compatible networks and three steps to easily set up a new network connection.
