Data storage provider Xnet is establishing an integration and support centre in Belfast.
The company is investing UK£663,000 in the facility and has also received selective financial assistance from Northern Ireland’s Industrial Development Board. Over the next three years, Xnet anticipates that the centre will employ 30 people.
Xnet chairman Nick Koumarianos said that the Belfast facility would allow the company to gain a foothold in the UK storage market, which he said was currently worth UK£760m and which is predicted to grow at a compound annual rate of 65 per cent over the next four years.
