Whoop is to take on more than 600 staff as part of a global expansion plan. The new roles will be across software, research & design, hardware, product, and marketing as the company continues to scale globally.
The company develops wearable devices that collect activity data, which is analysed by a bespoke platform.
While, the majority of new roles will be based at the company’s Boston headquarters, its Irish operation in Limerick is part of the continued global scaling strategy.

We are doubling down on exceptional talent and doubling down on world-class AI tools because the combination is what wins. Health monitoring is becoming one of the most important platforms in the world, and Whoop intends to own the category.”
