Waterford Technologies has announced a joint venture with the Telecommunications Software & Systems Group (TSSG) worth €500,000 to develop enterprise scale data management software. The project is supported by Enterprise Ireland.
Headquartered at Waterford Institute of Technology, TSSG is a centre of excellence for ICT research and innovation. Its key research areas include mobile platforms and services; security, privacy and identity; data analytics and social computing; and adaptive networks and services.
Over the past five years, TSSG has delivered innovative solutions to over 110 Irish companies, and has created 11 spinouts, including the award winning FeedHenry, a groundbreaking mobile cloud platform company, and ZolkC, a provider of mobile technology for international visitor attractions.
