UPC announces positive Q4 results

UPC Ireland today announced is results for the fourth quarter and year ended 3t December, 2013. During the fourth quarter UPC added a further 19,700 subscriptions for its fibre-powered broadband, TV and phone services across its home and business divisions.  Compared to the same quarter a year ago total subscriptions increased by 7% or 71,000 to a record level of 1,059,700.

At the end of 2013 UPC had 338,300 broadband subscribers, 293,500 phone subscribers and 383,300 digital cable TV subscribers.

In addition, UPC became the first Irish telecommunications company to be granted membership of Guaranteed Irish and joins one of Ireland’s most trusted and recognised symbols.  In summary, we are enthusiastic about our overall growth prospects and will continue to differentiate our offer with the very best digital products and services for our customers.”
