TNS Distribution has been appointed Irish distributor for Netgear, a global provider of networking products. TNS will distribute Netgear’s portfolio of networking products through its channel of IT resellers and systems integrators in Ireland.
TNS Distribution will sell Netgear wireless products such as access points, routers, gateways, PC and PCI cards and USB adapters based on the 802.11b and the new 802.11g technology standards. They will also sell wired products such as cable/ADSL routers and fast Ethernet switches alongside the emerging new media devices.
‘Ireland is an important market for Netgear’, explains Ben Allcock, Netgear distribution manager for Ireland. “Already a very technologically advanced country, it offers highly competitive growth potential. We were looking for a distributor who really understands the networking industry and TNS Distribution was able to offer us a dedicated networking team.’
