4 March 2011

Mobile operator Three will be looking to win more of the smartphone market after the launch of a new ‘all you can eat’ unlimited data package.

The new Flex Max packages will be based on the number of calls and texts the user makes, not the amount of data they use. Only customers on 18- and 24- month contracts will benefit initially. The operator also stated is reserves the right to implement ‘network management techniques’ as it sees fit.

Commenting on the launch of this exciting new initiative, Eoin MacManus, commercial director at Three, said: “We’ve built a network with the scale and scope to meet people’s data needs both now and into the future – and with more and more customers choosing to opt for next generation smartphones, this will prove more important than ever.”
