Designed to help executives record accurate notes at boardroom meetings and conferences, Olympus has launched the new DM-20 Conference Kit. The kit includes an aluminium-coated DM-20 digital stereo recorder with a 128Mbyte internal memory within the device and stereo microphones.

With the DM-20, you can record over four hours of group discussions and negotiations in stereo quality. With two multi-directional microphones included, this Dictaphone is designed to record voices clearly, regardless of which way you sit. Sound files from the DM-20 can be transferred to the user’s PC via a USB docking station. The recorded sound files can also be edited using the bundled DM software. The recordings can be e-mailed to all the meeting’s participants or passed on for transcription. A 2.5 metre Y-connection cable is provided, allowing the microphones to stand about five metres apart. This set-up is ideal for multiple participants sitting around a very large table.

Included in the kit is a remote control for the DM-20 which functions as a microphone. Primarily battery operated, this digital Dictaphone can alternatively be powered up from the mains via an AC adapter. For recording on the move, the DM-20 Conference Kit comes with a useful carrying case and strap. With entertainment in mind, the DM-20 can also function as an MP3 music player. The DM 20 Conference Kit retails for EUR999.99.
