Dublin-based Tao Climate has launched EarthOS, a live global carbon intelligence platform designed to make the planet’s carbon reality visible, understandable, and impossible to ignore.

“We’ve built EarthOS to answer a simple question,” said Gary Byrnes, founder and CEO of Tao Climate. “What is actually happening to our atmosphere right now? Not last year. Not in a PDF report. Now.”

EarthOS aggregates global carbon data into a continuously updated interface, providing a clear picture of emissions at a planetary level. The platform is designed for accessibility, enabling media, policymakers, businesses, and the public to engage with climate data in real time.

The platform also lays the groundwork for Tao Climate’s broader mission: building the trust infrastructure for carbon removal markets using artificial intelligence, satellite data, and real-time verification.

“Climate change has a visibility problem,” said Felix Roick, Co-founder and COO of Tao Climate. “If people could see carbon the way they see the weather, everything would change. EarthOS is a step towards that reality.”

“This is not another climate report,” Byrnes added. “It’s a live feed of the atmosphere. And once you see it, you can’t unsee it.”
