Control-M merges the management of all batch processing into a unified business environment. It also allows for automatic initiating and monitoring of external processes and integrates them with processes in the SAP environment.
Control-M provides customers with strong recovery capabilities in case failures occur and also aids in the prevention of loss of operations resulting from inefficient management of data archiving sessions.
BMC Software has also released a new version of Patrol Recovery for Oracle, an advanced backup and recovery product that provides Oracle database administrators with a means to recover lost or damaged data. Patrol Recovery for Oracle includes centralised management of multiple databases from a single console. It offers remote management of backup and recovery tasks, greater flexibility and enables quick and efficient transaction recovery of bad transactions through log analysis.
