Compact projectors from Sony, the VPL-CS5 and VPL-CX5, offer high quality picture display from units that weigh just 2.7 kg.
The VPL-CS5 offers 1800 ANSI lumens at SVGA resolution with vivid colour output. The VPL-CX5 displays at 2000 ANSI lumens at XGA resolution that provides picture detail and clarity, even in daylight conditions.
Both units have an automatic source selection capability that offers near-instant connection with virtually any PC, DVD player or other audio-visual source. They come with a number of ‘smart’ features that include motorised opening of the lens protector and auto adjustment of focus and sharpness.
The powered tilt adjuster can be used to change the shooting angle and the keystone correction feature compensates automatically for adjustments in tilt angle to ensure true picture geometry, even in tight spaces.
The VPL-CX5 accepts Memory Stick storage media, allowing Microsoft PowerPoint files, digital still images and even MPEG video clips to be displayed without the need for a PC or connecting cables.
