StarOffice 6.0 software for Linux, Solaris and Windows is a full-featured office productivity suite for day-to-day tasks such as creating documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
The applications are accessible in a familiar, easy-to-use, integrated and configurable interface. Version 6.0 works transparently with a range file formats, so that users familiar with other productivity suites can open, modify, and share files.
StarOffice is available at a series of price structures. The recommend retail price of €75. Users in the education sector only for the cost of the CD-Rom media and shipping. A free version is available to download through the open source project at www.openoffice.org.
