More choice: Sharkoon SATA QuickPort is now available in white
Sharkoon has redesigned its QuickPort hard drive docking station. The SATA QuickPort XT model is now available in white and has an additional backup function.
The supplied table-top adapter enables external SATA hard drives and SSDs to be connected directly to the computer without any installation. When the disk is inserted into the slot, the system immediately recognises it as an authorized drive, says Sharkoon.
The new models include a one-click backup feature for Windows systems (XP, Vista, and 7) and comes with the backup software on a CD.
The Sharkoon SATA QuickPort XT comes in five variations, with the manufacturer’s suggested retail prices ranging from €19.79 to €34.90.
