The South & East Belfast Trust (SEBT) has selected B.I.C. Systems as its strategic technology support partner.
SEBT is one of the largest community based health and social services trusts in Northern Ireland, providing health and social care services to more than 200,000 people in the greater Belfast Area.
Under the terms of the partnership, which will run until December 2006, B.I.C. Systems will provide outsourced helpdesk support – where SEBT staff with technology-related queries will be able to contact a helpdesk managed by B.I.C. Systems staff – as well as onsite technical support and ongoing technical consultancy.
A key element of the project was the adoption of the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), a new international standard of service delivery, which incorporates infrastructure management, applications management and service support.
