Minister for Jobs, Enterprise & Innovation Richard Bruton has announced that SAP is to increase investment in the Business Objects Software’s development centre at Citywest, in Dublin. Sixty new jobs will created be in the area of predictive analytics.
SAP is also currently recruiting in its Business Suite and Cloud Support organisations and expects to fill over 200 roles in 2014.

We are delighted to be creating these new exciting roles to support SAP’s continuing strong business growth and providing excellent career opportunities for talented professionals and graduates to work in Ireland.”
In a separate development, Ericsson, the fifth-largest software company in the world, is creating an additional 120 jobs in 2014 at its offices in Dublin and Athlone.
The positions will be mainly in the areas of software engineering and programme management and consultancy.
Ericsson currently employs 1,400 in Ireland. Hiring will commence immediately.
Both investments are supported by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through IDA Ireland.
