Business intelligence software firm EPS has merged with the software development and accounting business of KSM.
The new software services company will trade as ProStrategy. Its offices are in Dublin’s Riverview Business Park on the Nangor Road. The firm has three divisions: Business intelligence, business management systems and development services.
Its board of directors comprises Joe Kelly, managing director of KSM, EPS managing director Noel Shannon and Jim McDonagh, who was formerly business solutions director of KSM.
ProStrategy will continue to develop and support the EPS customer base with software offerings from the business intelligence software vendor Cognos, and Pilot, a developer of decision support software.
The new company has also signed a partnership agreement with Navision, a provider of business management systems, which was recently acquired by Microsoft Business Solutions.
The former KSM consultants will provide the expertise to implement the mid-tier accounting packages from Navision. The new ProStrategy team will provide a fully integrated ERP and business intelligence system that combines Navision with Cognos.
‘By combining the technical skills of KSM with the marketing expertise and customer base of EPS, we have created a strong solution driven company aimed at the fast growing mid-tier marketplace in Ireland and UK’
