Pragamatica adds to sustainability credentials
Kidare-based Pragmatica, a sustainability partner for SMEs, has achieved a B Corporation (B Corp) certificate.
B Corp organisations are part of a global community of businesses leading a global movement for an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy.
The announcement comes amid a growing wave of interest in verified sustainability certifications from businesses worldwide.
Pragmatica CEO Gillian Peters said: “Companies are recognising that sustainability isn’t just about saying the right thing. It’s about doing the right thing and proving it. We also recognise how important it is for SMEs and their priorities to retain and win new business.”
Chief sustainability officer and B Corp lead Pat Kane added: “More and more, we’re seeing businesses differentiate between sustainability credentials and sustainability certifications. Credentials are about the story you tell. Certifications are about the systems, structures and evidence behind that story. That’s where trust is built.”
As the pressure increases on businesses from stakeholders, regulators, and supply chain partners, many are turning to third-party certifications like B Corp and others such as EcoVadis and the various ISO standards as frameworks to validate their sustainability efforts. Pragmatica has been at the forefront of this movement, offering strategic guidance and hands-on support to companies navigating complex sustainability certifications.
