Payroll deal creates 50 Belfast jobs

Belfast-based software and services provider ICS Computing is to create 50 new jobs at its Belfast headquarters following a significant breakthrough into Britain’s health service which will see it providing payroll and pension services to two major NHS trusts.

The two contracting organisations are Pennine Care and North West Ambulance, which serves Manchester and Blackpool and is the largest ambulance service in Europe.

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust provides mental health and substance misuse services to 1.2 million people in the North West of England.

ICS says its payroll service solution will help both trusts achieve major cost-savings through greater process efficiencies and reduced paperwork.
