BMC Software’s Patrol Connector is a product that provides a better view of systems management information for Siebel eBusiness applications.
The Patrol Connector improves system manageability and streamlines problem resolution by allowing the free flow of system information between Patrol users and the Siebel user interface.
Patrol maintains a central repository of Siebel-related data from the Siebel application and all surrounding technologies, which is then readily available for the purposes of service level management, correlation, reporting and analysis.
Through the product, Siebel development, administrators and operations teams all see the same data, which speeds problem resolution and decreases downtime.
It has preset reporting templates, customisable expert advice, and is easy to set up and use. It also allows Web browser access to performance and availability alarms, even when Siebel services are not available
