Sage has launched the latest version of its accounting software. Sage Line 50 Version 11 includes several key enhancements including Excel Integrated Reporting where Excel can now link directly to Line 50 data so that directors and managers can access and analyse accounts information without needing to use Line 50 themselves or have it installed.
The new Project Costing module allows the creation of project records with project references assigned to them allowing
customers to track costs and profits relating to specific projects. The new Accountant Link allows accountants to receive client data via email, examine the information and make adjustments, which can then be easily merged back into client data while the client continues to process daily transactions.
Sage Line 50 Version 11 gives businesses efficient stock management, improved cash management, automatic financial reports and easy access to management information. It also integrates with other products in the Sage range, including
Sage Payroll and Sage Contact Manager to provide users with a full business management system.
The Document Manager module links documents to the customer, supplier, stock and project records in Line 50. The Enhanced Credit Control module draws together all the relevant functions and provides full credit histories for both customers and suppliers. New Nominal View provides information on key items such as assets, liabilities and income, with drill-down to detailed accounts
information. Event Logging allows businesses and accountants to easily review and trace any unusual accounts activities. Easy Copy can be used to copy and adapt transactions to create new invoices, orders, stock records, and customer or supplier accounts.
Sage Line 50 Version 11 is currently available at a starting price of €835 for Line 50 Accountant, €1255 for Line 50 Accountant Plus. Line 50 Financial Controller costs €2005.
