Canon has launched two new affordable plain paper fax machines for small businesses. The Fax-B120 and Fax-B140 both come with Canon’s ‘Caller ID’ function, which enables users to identify incoming calls and store the twenty most recent numbers in the memory. Each model boasts a high quality image processing feature that picks up gradual changes in image density to ensure minimal loss of detail when faxing or copying. Both fax machines also offer a six seconds-per-page transmission speed and a 50-page memory capacity.

In addition, the Fax-B120 comes with a dual access option which allows users to prepare and programme one fax job while another fax is being transmitted or received. The machine’s sequential broadcast function meanwhile, allows users to send the same fax to multiple destinations.

The Fax-B140 includes a voice recognition dialling system which means that the user can programme the fax so that they merely need to tell the fax machine which number to dial. The fax also comes with a built-in digital telephone answering machine which can store up to 55 recorded messages.
