Microsoft has debuted two new entries in the Halo franchise at this year’s Tokyo Games Show. The Halo 3: Recon expansion pack and Halo Wars will bring both stealth and strategy genres to the popular franchise.
Set for release in autumn of 2009, Halo 3: Recon extends the series experience with new campaign excursions and multiplayer gameplay.
Attendees were also given a glimpse of the Xbox 360 exclusive strategy game Halo Wars. By showing campaign mode for the first time, the live demo provided viewers with a thrilling taste of the revolutionary gameplay and new perspective of the Halo universe. Players will be able to enjoy the full experience when Halo Wars hits retailers in early 2009.
