Nostra calls up PBX specialist Passax Business Systems
Managed services provider Nostra has acquired Galway-based Passax Business Systems, which has its expertise in telecoms and cloud-based PBX solutions.
Nostra is relocating its Galway regional office in Athenry to Ballybrit. It will still retain its HQ in Parkwest in Dublin along with its various regional offices around Ireland and Bulgaria.
The acquisition of Passax will bring Nostra’s headcount to 270 and will double the number of employees based in the west of Ireland where Nostra will continue to invest in and expand on its services. It is the first of a number of strategic acquisitions which Nostra hopes to complete in 2023 and which are aligned with Nostra’s long term expansion and growth.
Kevin O’Loughlin, CEO of Nostra said: “Nostra is on track to achieve revenues of €50 million by the end of 2023. Our business strategy is based on organic growth and expansion through acquisitions. We will continue to acquire businesses which will widen our customer base, and which align with our culture while adding to our human capital, products, and services.
“Very early on we identified businesses which we had ambitions to acquire in order for us to grow and to deliver further expertise to our clients. We acquired Brandon in 2020 and over the last number of years have been steadily acquiring businesses which we knew would add real value to our services,” continued O’Loughlin.
