HP has brought out new software that will allow mobile users to access its printers as easily as desktop workers with dedicated connections.
HP Mobile Printing for Pocket PC allows users of HP iPAQs and other Pocket PC 2002 devices to print wirelessly to networked, Bluetooth and IR-enabled printers.
Also available is a Mobile Printing Software Development Kit (SDK) for wireless printing. This enables companies such as PalmSource and Sony Ericsson to add printing capability to their operating systems and mobile devices respectively. A third product, HP JetCAPS AirProjector, allows projectors to be operated using wireless technology making all cables obsolete.
