Three new software modules for efficiently managing and storing business information contained in e-mail are now available from StorageTek.
The e-mail Xcelerator software suite comprises the ASM/e-mail Archive Manager, the ASM/e-mail Content Manager and the ASM/e-mail Regulatory Manager.
Each of the three components of the StorageTek e-mail Xcelerator software suite is designed to address a specific requirement for storing and managing e-mail.
The e-mail Archive Manager offloads attachments and copies e-mail messages from Microsoft Exchange to a separate archive server. This frees up space and improves performance; e-mail and attachments can be retrieved at any time.
The e-mail Content Manager includes all the features of the Archive Manager, along with lifecycle management and content management capabilities.
The e-mail Regulatory Manager is designed specifically for customers in the financial sector. It helps regulated organisations to comply with rules about the review, classification and retention of e-mail messages and attachments.
This component includes all the storage management and content management functions of the other two e-mail Xcelerator systems.
