Eurologic’s Elantra iCS2100 is an IP storage system designed to make adding and managing storage resources simple and cost-effective.
The iCS2100 is suitable for a number of applications such as aggregating or consolidating storage, Exchange back-office implementations, Web servers or secondary storage systems for remote data replication.
It is intended to offer the flexibility of Ethernet-based SAN systems and an alternative to more expensive Fibre Channel-based storage products.
The iCS2100’s features include target-based virtualisation, the ability to export up to 512 logical volumes, dynamic expansion capabilities, sharing of block storage between servers, target security and the ability to handle zoning of storage between applications.
The system is easy to install, secure and interoperable with a number of software and hardware offerings. The iSC2100 is the precursor to a series of IP-SAN offerings due for launch later this year.
