New legislation covering late payment of invoices has come into effect and the Small Firms Association and ISME are both urging their members to ensure that their accounting software is up to date.
Sheila O’Hara, Product Manager for Sage Accounting Products told Smart Company ‘Sage Instant Accounts Plus, Sage Line 50 and Sage Line 100 accounting and business solutions support the late payments legislation which has recently been introduced in the Republic of Ireland. These Sage accounting products can be set to automatically add the late payment charge to a customer account if payment has not been made within 30 days.’
