LAN Communications has signed a deal to supply products from Peribit Networks, a manufacturer of WAN bandwidth creation products. Under the terms of the partnership, LAN Communications will resell Peribit’s sequence reduction products, which allow businesses to increase network throughput up to 10 times over existing WAN transmission facilities.
Starting in March, LAN Communications will also resell two new Peribit products, the SR-20 Sequence Reducer and Central Management System (CMS) software.
Peribit set up its European headquarters in Ireland last year, with former 3Com Ireland country manager Shane Buckley appointed as president EMEA. Now, the company expects to double its business in Ireland as a result of the deal with LAN Communications.
