Lack of expertise remains biggest barrier to AI adoption

TechBeat, Agile Networks survey uncovers contemporary attitudes to AI

Thirty-nine per cent of respondents to the ongoing TechBeat survey in association with Agile Networks reported a lack of talent as being their biggest barrier to adopting artificial intelligence. The interim findings also noted a lack of management buy-in as a problem, with 25% seeing it as the most significant blocker.

“It’s sad to see the same problems persisting when it comes to AI adoption,” said Niall Kitson, editor of TechCentral.ie. “Even as artificial intelligence becomes more accessible there remains a digital divide between companies that can afford the talent to make it work and those that have to learn as they go or try to ignore it completely. We expect a clearer picture will emerge when the survey wraps up.”
