Keeping e-mail eSafe

eSafe Gateway 3.1 and eSafe Mail 3.1 are two powerful e-mail inspection methods. eSafe Gateway 3.1 is the gateway-level content security solution that protects against all forms of malicious content. It allows selective servers to bypass eSafe Gateway inspection, increasing traffic performance between the LAN and servers located in the DMZ.

New features within eSafe Gateway 3.1 and eSafe Mail 3.1 includes an enhanced content-inspection engine that provides protection against known and unknown malicious content sent over the Internet. A new update system checks for updates hourly, and the systems also offers full inspection or stripping of embedded objects inside Microsoft Office documents.

The systems block all attachment files with multiple extensions, except those used by Unix archives, and offers support for third-party load-balancing and high-availability software products, such as Stonesoft’s StoneBeat SecurityCluster, to support eSafe Gateway.
