Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase, believes that artificial intelligence (AI) will undoubtedly change the labor market, but that human skills will remain crucial for career success.

In a recent speech on Fox News, Dimon acknowledged that AI would lead to job losses, but he stressed that new opportunities would emerge. He pointed to the importance of developing skills such as critical thinking, emotional intelligence and clear communication to navigate this changing landscape.

Dimon’s views come at a time of growing concern about the impact of AI on employment, especially among younger generations. Some experts attribute rising youth unemployment to the acceleration of AI-driven automation.

Dimon has always maintained, however, that successful leadership depends more on qualities such as judgment, curiosity and interpersonal skills than on technical expertise. He highlights the importance of asking insightful questions, encouraging continuous learning and staying open to different perspectives.
