Over 70 per cent of IT directors across Europe, including Ireland, say that their IT budgets into 2004 have either been slashed or will remain static and that they are being forced to do more with less. The finding comes from a Synstar survey of 700 European IT directors, over 10 per cent of whom are based in Ireland.
Nearly 65 per cent of European IT directors say that the pressure is on them to deliver greater business benefit and 25 per cent say they’ve been tasked with reducing the costs of the business.
Synstar, which employs about 80 people in Ireland, specialises in infrastructure outsourcing for the SME sector.
