HTC confirms Evo 3D for Europe

HTC Corporation has confirmed the arrival of of its Evo 3D handset in Europe. The device, which can display 3D content without the need for glasses, will hit the shelved in July.

Using a candybar form factor, the Evo 3D comes with 4.3″ qHD 3D S-LCD capacitive touch screen, 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1Gb RAM, 4Gb internal storage, 3.5mm headphone jack and micro USB, microSD, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, built-in FM radio, GPS, and Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread.

As well as support for 3D and HD video playback, the dual 5MP cameras can capture images in 720p at 30fps in low light thanks to a f/2.2 maximum aperture.

Also featured is the latest iteration of HTC’s Sense interface. USers can navigate through customisable 3D menus and the active lockscreen, which becomes a real-time window to personal content, from photos to social network feeds.
