Surveillance solutions specialist Axis Communications has security all wrapped up at Lily O’Brien’s chocolate factory in Newbridge, Co Kildare. The firm, with partner Encom, provided and installed an IP-surveillance system with Axis network cameras.
The chocolate maker wanted a system that would secure its site while also helping to monitor key production processes remotely to keep lines running smoothly and to quickly pinpoint problems.
Encom installed seven network cameras for external areas around the factory and the car park. Five more were used to cover reception and corridors, with 10 more to monitor the factory floor. Two more were used to oversee critical production processes and collect technical data.
