HISI call for papers

The Health Informatics Society of Ireland (HISI) is holding its 8th Annual Conference and Symposium on Wednesday and Thursday November 12th and 13th 2003 in the Stillorgan Park Hotel, Co Dublin. The society has issued a call for papers for the conference, which will reflect current developments in healthcare computing, associated technologies and communications infrastructures within Ireland and in the wider international context.

According to HISI, papers and poster presentations of a general or specialised nature will be considered. Abstracts of no more than 150 words should be submitted before Friday September 5th to the society’s chairman Gerard Hurl at ghurl@mater.ie or by post to Healthcare Informatics Society of Ireland, 58 Eccles Street, Dublin 7.

All abstracts should comply with the guidelines issued by the Irish Journal of Medical Science. More information and a link to the guidelines is available on the HISI website at www.hisi.ie. A prize of EUR300 is on offer for the best paper or poster presentation.
