GxP Systems acquired by SRCL

GxP Systems has been acquired by SRCL, a division US company Stericycle, in an all cash transaction to become part of SRCL Ireland.

Based in Cork, GxP Systems provides regulatory compliance services for multi-national life science customers in the biotech, medical device and pharmaceutical industries.

GxP Systems CEO Linda Mellerick continue to head up the operation. “This acquisition bears testament to the enormous opportunity for growth of GxP Systems,” Mellerick said. “SRCL identified the strength of our team and first-class reputation with the blue chip customer base. With SRCL’s huge reach, we can now expand our existing multi-national life science business globally”.

Kevin McCarthy, general manager (Ireland), SRCL, said: “We were looking for a company like GxP Systems to expand our global business into the regulatory compliance sector and we were impressed by the strength and depth of the management team, the technical staff, and excellent reputation in the marketplace”.

Mellerick added: “Under the SRCL umbrella, GxP Systems will be provided with the opportunity to further develop and expand our services. At our customer sites, we will continue to provide the same efficient, professional and friendly service to which our customers have become accustomed”.
