Gate firm’s success hinges on software

Hammer & Tongs, a family-run Portadown gate manufacturer, has nailed down a deal with Pegasus reseller Xperience.

The contract hinges on the gate firm’s need for a more robust accounting solution to meet steady growth and the continued expansion in the domestic and export markets.

Accounting software in the form of Pegasus’ Opera II, with its in-depth reporting functionality, will help automate processes and make the business more efficient.

H&T’s Sharon McGinn says the family business now has “great expectations” for the coming months. “We expect time savings from process-automation and better efficiency from up-to-the-minute information that can be automatically delivered by Opera II.”

Pegasus says its range of business management systems is used by over 20,000 firms. Software includes financial, supply chain management, payroll and HR solutions supported by over 120 certified staff in the UK and Ireland.
