BT Ireland has won a contract to implement an MPLS network for SWS Business Process Outsourcing, which provides its services to a range of industry and public sectors. The five-year deal is worth *EUR1.3m. BT Ireland will roll out the network at sites across Ireland, Europe and the US. SWS needed a suitable network to support plans to bid for new business on a global platform.
BT Business MD Anne O’Leary noted: “We were selected because of BT’s ability to recognise what the customer really wanted above and beyond any technical solutions. It was a strategic decision for SWS, and not just a question of cost.”
Peadar Murphy, SWS BPO’s head of IT, said the firm’s customers demand innovative and cost effective solutions, and that the partnership with BT would give them added confidence.
