The Lexmark X7170 all-in-one multifunction device offers small business owners a one-stop shop for easily faxing, scanning, printing and copying documents.
It has a flatbed scanner with 1200 x 4800 dots per inch (dpi) resolution, 48bit colour depth and CCD technology. It also device offers borderless printing capabilities, and monochrome print speeds of up to 22 pages-per-minute (ppm).
The X7170 fax capabilities include 400 by 400 dpi resolution and 33.6Kbp/sec colour options with convenience options including 100-page memory and 79 speed dials. The machine comes with Lexmark’s Productivity Suite Software, an easy-to-use application for transferring documents into data. Using the software, users can
create multiple page PDFs from a variety of formats and convert them into a single document for storage and distribution. Users can also convert hard copy pages into text files via the program’s OCR module and can upload images from PictBridge enabled cameras.
The machine has an easy-to-use LCD screen which allows users to carry out functions quickly, without the use of a PC. A 50-sheet Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) and 150-page input tray help process large copy, scan and fax jobs.
