  Techsocial gathers young digital media professionals together for a social event that will take place on Thursday 8 May, 2014. The casual and informative evening will be held in Lillie’s Bordello and will kick off at 6.30pm with the first of few live interviews. The Tech Talk speakers include stylish fashion entrepreneur Jennie McGinn who is no stranger to start-ups in the tech industry, Brian Daly, founder of Pitchify and start-up associate for Paddy Cosgrave at The Web Summit, and Sofia Jimenez Valls who works as a lead generation associate for Google. 

  The evening is expected to attract a substantial amount of likeminded, budding digital media enthusiasts including bloggers, advertisers, event planners and PR execs. The event has been designed specifically to create networking opportunities for creative individuals in a relaxed and casual setting.

  The idea of Techsocialwas created by Carrie O’Mahoney and Stephanie O’Quigley earlier this year. They both have a degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications and are successful in their fields of social media consultancy, marketing and PR. Stephanie is a fashion and lifestyle blogger – www.snappedup.ie – in her spare time. Carrie, also a blogger, has just launched her own event company – Carrie Loves Candy – which will be making an appearance on the night of the event.
