Espion has signed a deal with AEP Systems to distribute its high-speed security products, specifically AEP SureWare A-Gate, a remote access appliance for small and mid-sized businesses.

Espion says it can now take advantage of the growing demand for secure remote access by distributing AEP Systems’ SSL VPN product in Ireland.

AEP Systems’ AEP SureWare A-Gate is a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Virtual Private Networking solution for remote access to internal systems. This technology makes it easy to set-up secure connections with business partners, suppliers and customers because users can access Web-based applications, such as e-mail, from anywhere using any standard Web browser.

AEP is one of the latest additions to Espion’s ‘Green’ security portfolio, which includes eManage IT and Waterford Technologies (see below).

Espion has also signed an agreement to distribute Waterford Technologies’ flagship product, M@ilmeter to its Irish reseller base.

M@ilmeter is a non-intrusive e-mail management and reporting tool that will give you full visibility of all e-mail traffic in your organisation and will also provide in-depth analysis of each and every mailbox stored centrally. This information is intended to put control of e-mail usage back into the hands of the employers.

Espion managing director, Colman Morrissey said partnering with Waterford Technologies would allow the company to offer a comprehensive e-mail management and reporting tool to its Irish customer base.
